AI got you to the product. Not to the decision.
Users increasingly shop through AI directly. However, once they click into the product link, they're faced again to convince themselves about their purchasing decision. The challenge is no longer finding products; it's carrying the reasoning through to a confident decision.
APPROACH
AI as your shopping enabler, not a separate chatbot.
AI shopping pulls users away from the moment of purchase. I explored working towards the end of the shopping journey instead – bringing AI before one checks out. The goal isn't to replace the decision, but to reduce the effort it takes to reach it.
Shopping cart reads a customer's order history and surfaces personalised insights the moment their items are selected.
The analysis panel compares the current order against spending habits and turns each into one-tap actions.
An AI assistant that shoppers can ask plain-language questions based on their orders and shopping preferences.
